And we stand with you, the philanthropist, the visionary, the missionary, the businessperson, the world-changer who is passionate about service and who wants to give back to their community. Whether you’re already serving in a nonprofit, hoping to start one yourself, or wondering how the principles of the nonprofit sector can impact and improve your work or personal life, this is the course for you. Objectives
The Introduction to GRACIAS course serves two primary purposes: To educate participants about who GRACIAS is and what we stand for as a community, and for participants to see what it looks like to effectively engage in philanthropy within their communities. This course offers direct, tangible and immediately-applicable tools, activities, and strategies that will change the way you do philanthropy. Throughout this course you will:
- Journal how your culture and values inform your personal identity
- Turn your personal identity into an actionable mission
- Learn how to craft the perfect team to accomplish that mission
- Practice effectively engaging with diverse people groups, neighborhoods and communities
- and much more.
Program Details
This course is entirely self-paced and can be completed over the course of a workweek or weekend. Once you have access to the course, you have access to it for life; use it as a resource and guide as you accomplish the mission and journey you’ve embarked on.
