In this course, you will explore the hard truths and realities behind volunteering. You will explore how to do it successfully, with a familia mindset, with tangible, applicable strategies; the GRACIAS way. Objectives
The Introduction to GRACIAS course serves two primary purposes: To educate participants about who GRACIAS is and what we stand for as a community, and for participants to see what it looks like to effectively engage in philanthropy within their communities. This course offers direct, tangible and immediately-applicable tools, activities, and strategies that will change the way you do philanthropy. Throughout this course you will:
- Dispel common myths and misconceptions about volunteer work
- Explore the heart, mind, and soul of volunteering
- Practice multiple practical volunteer recruitment strategies
- Learn how to effectively build relationships with volunteers

Program Details
